About District Riso
Stay inky!District Riso is a Risograph & printmaking studio located in NW Washington, DC, founded by Danielle Witten in 2025. Our mission is to make bright & fun printmaking accessible to the DMV community.
What started in a home studio as a personal print practice quickly grew into a community-focused space for making and sharing work. Today, District Riso offers printmaking services, hands-on workshops, and open studio access for artists of all levels. The studio is rooted in experimentation, accessibility, and the belief that art should feel approachable, tactile, and a little imperfect.
If you’d like to support the studio and help it grow, you can join the District Riso Patreon and be part of what keeps it running.
